Mr Simon Holland CGeog (Teacher)

Biography

Simon Holland has taught geography passionately for over 18 years and is Head of Faculty for Humanities at Bilborough College in Nottingham. He has a BSc (Hons) in Geography from Lancaster University and is a keen traveller, having visited and lived in many places around the world from Colorado to New Zealand. Simon has led many UK student fieldtrips and overseas expeditions over the years including to Greenland, the northwest tip of Iceland, Nepal and Mt Toubkhal in Morocco to name just a few. Simon has also held a range of other roles alongside his teaching, including Examiner, Consultant, CPD Trainer, Coach, RGS Data Skills Champion and NEA adviser, seizing every opportunity to stay up to date through quality CPD.
