Biography
Tim has worked in the Geospatial industry across the United Kingdom, with over 17 years of experience, including project involvement in Latin and North America, and Europe. He currently occupies a senior Geospatial and Mobile Data Mapping Specialist role within Jacobs, with key experience in a wide variety of Geospatial aspects including GIS, mobile data capture, feature extraction, LiDAR and imagery manipulation, spatial data analysis, cartographic production, and 3D visualisation. Tim has experience working across a wide range of disciplines through all stages of the project lifecycle, from identifying the scope and requirements, translating these into data models and standards, and identifying the most efficient method of capturing and processing data. A key area of Tim’s Geospatial career to date has been in asset data collection/ extraction, with extensive travel across the UK collecting asset location, information and condition grading for the Environment Agency and Highway England.
