Biography

Environment Agency Specialist and part-time PhD Candidate at the University of Southampton. Passionate about the conservation of our native wildlife, our landscape, and natural processes, for its own intrinsic value, because it makes life worth living and because it makes life possible. Loves chalk streams. An optimist, famed for his passion and enthusiasm, Tim has dedicated his career to conserving and enhancing the natural environment for people and wildlife. Excels at identifying and creating opportunities and synergies to make a positive difference, a resourceful problem-solver with a positive can-do attitude. A highly accomplished and well-established individual with over 35 years of rich professional experience: advising water companies, environmental assessments; stakeholders and partners on ecological and geomorphological best practices and strategies; conserving natural environments and ecosystems in partnership with cross-functional teams; implementing nature conservation techniques and methodologies; and securing major partnerships with NGOs, research institutions and public sector bodies.
