Biography

Wei Jin is a GIS Team Leader of Mott MacDonald, with 15 years' experience in flood modelling and mapping, geospatial data analysis, mapping, web mapping, project costing and due diligence, and conducting surveys. He is the GIS Team Leader of a team of 21 people in the Environment and Social Division with a broad range of GIS and project management skills in spatial data management, geospatial data analysis, project costing and due diligence, tool development – including task automation with Python or VBA, mobile data collection set up and web mapping implementation. He has also experience with 2D flood modelling using Tuflow and conducting surveys. Recent projects include: Water Resource Management Plans 2024-2029 for various water companies in England, HS2 Phase 2B GIS data management, Anglian Water's South Lincolnshire and Fens Reservoirs Site Selection Studies and Skavica Hydroelectric Power Scheme in Albania.
