Biography
Caroline graduated with First-Class Honours in Geography and Environmental Biology from the University of St Andrews. After working in the construction sector, progressing from a graduate role to sustainability manager, she joined the teaching profession. She is now Head of Geography at a large comprehsive school, teaching Key Stage 3-5 Geography. Caroline has previously taught A Level Geology and held the role of EPQ Co-ordinator. Caroline has completed a Masters in Education focused on the barriers to numeracy teaching in secondary Geography. She achieved her Chartered Teaching Status in September 2024. Caroline relishes the opportunity for generating enthusiasm for Geography through fieldwork and through extra-curricular opportunities, such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award and GeogSoc. Caroline also takes the opportunity to disseminate her learning through the delivery of CPD for trainee teachers and teaching colleagues.
