Biography

An experienced Geography teacher and curriculum leader with over 20 years’ experience across Key Stages 3–5, specialising in physical geography, fieldwork and enquiry-based learning. She has led curriculum development and created knowledge-rich programmes that emphasise real-world application and geographical thinking. Her practice is informed by ongoing engagement with research and collaboration with external organisations, including fieldwork providers and environmental agencies. She is particularly committed to widening participation and supporting students in accessing higher education. Alongside her teaching, she contributes to professional development through mentoring, resource development and sharing effective practice within and beyond her department.
