"I am responsible for developing and delivering the UK GIS strategy at Sweco UK, Europe's largest engineering consultancy, operating in construction, architecture, and environmental engineering. My role involves identifying opportunities, raising GIS awareness across business lines, and growing the team of dedicated GIS specialists. With over twenty years of post-Masters GIS experience in dynamic, client-facing roles, I bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with a solid background in Environmental Science and GIS. My expertise includes EIA project management, spatial analysis, ESRI ArcGIS Online, data management, process management, quality assurance, and training provision. In my spare time, I volunteer with MapAction, deploying overseas in response to earthquakes and hurricanes. Over the years, I have deployed to India, the Philippines, Haiti, Turkey, and Jamaica, providing specialised GIS support."
