Biography

Kirsten is a GIS professional with over 10 years of experience. After studying a BSc in Geography (Human and Physical) at the University of Reading, Kirsten completed an MSc in GIS and Environmental Management at the University of Brighton. She has developed her GIS career through voluntary and consultancy positions working primarily in environmental and engineering disciplines. From working on conservation projects such as the ‘Hedgerows for Dormice’ conducted by the People’s Trust for Endangered Species to working on large-scale national infrastructure projects such as HS2 and the Lower Thames Crossing. Kirsten has applied GIS extensively, working closely with project managers and clients to deliver valuable and supporting GIS outputs.
