Biography

Laura is a Senior Advisor for the Environment Agency (EA). She has over 20 years’ experience in flood and coastal risk management and incident management and resilience. She has experience of working in flood and coastal risk management in Yorkshire Area and in delivering challenging National projects. She has worked in partnership with SEPA, NRW and INI to shape the Flood Incident Management coastal service that EA provides now and for the future. Laura has also worked with the Flood Forecasting Centre and Met Office to ensure their Rapid Flood Guidance service is embedded into the EA and will make a difference to our partner responders and ultimately those affected by rapid flooding.
