Biography
Naa is a Senior Data Analyst and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist at ITOPF, a global ship pollution response organisation that works on a not-for- profit basis. She has a degree in Natural Resources Management and holds a masters in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Naa has experience applying GIS for environmental management across industries. She has worked on road and rail construction projects and is currently responsible for managing data and providing specialist advice to enhance GIS services in her maritime organisation. Her expertise includes spatio-temporal analysis, workflow automation, development and management of geodatabases, web applications and mobile applications and GIS project management. Naa also has experience providing GIS training to colleagues and producing guidance documents to support GIS workflows. She’s a registered mentor with the Royal Geographical Society and is passionate about inspiring young people into Geoscience.
