Rachel is an Asset Performance Team Leader in Kent and South London Area at the Environment Agency. With 20+ years’ experience in Flood and Coastal Risk Management, she spent the first 10 years of her career specialising in flood risk modelling, mapping, GIS and data management and subsequent 14 years in Asset Management. Rachel currently manages a technical team who bring their specialisms in asset management and data management together to provide intelligence and evidence to the flood and coastal risk management business; ensuring robust decisions and actions are made to protect thousands of people and properties at risk from flooding in the South-East.
