Biography
I have worked in ONS for 36 years. My first role was Enumerator District Planning for the 1991 Census. This was then very much a hands-on job of drawing the areas with a pen on paper maps. I re-joined the Geography department over 18 years ago starting in Customer Services. I then joined the boundary team and produced current boundaries for Great Britain at varying extents and resolutions. Following this I joined the mapping team where I have produced maps for ONS Statistical publications, reference maps for the ONS Geography portal and other government departments. My interests are in Geospatial geography, accessibility and human health.
