Charlie is a passionate geospatial professional with an MSC in GIS and 20+ years’ experience delivering technical and people-focused work in various government roles. Building significant experience from geospatial analysis, software development and solutions architecture in Local Government, her passion for geospatial technology enabled widespread adoption of tools. She moved to the Civil Service in 2019 and continues to promote geospatial capability. Leading the development of key geospatial products supporting the production of national statistics and insights, she is now pivotal to the success of the new cross-government Integrated Data Service. Drawing from her highly collaborative working ethos and extensive stakeholder engagement skills, she is determined to ensure that researchers and analysts can make the best use of geospatial capability.
