Ms Katharina Lorenz CGeog (GIS)

Biography

Katharina works as a Principal Geospatial Consultant within the Environment and Social Division at Mott MacDonald. She obtained a degree in cartography in 2009 from the Technical University Dresden, Germany focusing on GIS and remote sensing. Katharina has applied her skills to a range of projects covering research, commercial and NGO activities. Her expertise lies in utilising GIS for environmental management and environmental impact assessments for remote environments. Katharina is also highly experienced in applying her skills in the humanitarian sector. She has been a volunteer for MapAction since 2014, a charity which provides mapping and information management in disaster situations and worked at the German Red Cross International Cooperation between 2019-2021 supporting international German Red Cross projects as a manager for geoinformatics.
