Professor Bruce Atkinson CGeog

Biography

Bruce is Professor Emeritus of Geography at Queen Mary, University of London. His main research interests have focused on meso-scale meteorology, particularly numerical modelling of airflows in the planetary boundary layer. Bruce has been awarded the Hugh Robert Mill Medal of the Royal Meteorological Society and the Back Award of the RGS-IBG. Bruce has been Editor for Weather and Progress in Physical Geography, and a member of the editorial board for the Geographical Journal.
