Supporting your staff on the Professional Pathway provides an opportunity for you to provide a structured pathway for your geographical specialists, supported by the Society's and our resources.
As an employer, you can register as a ‘Professional Pathway to Chartered Geographer Employer’ and can embed the Pathway into your career development schemes.
We expect you to provide:
- Time and resources for the staff to undertake Continuing Professional Development, including appropriate events, courses or engagement with special interest groups.
- Regular reviews of professional development and progress.
- Where appropriate, peer groups or networks of geographical professionals.
- Support for individuals undertaking applications to Chartered Geographer.
