Coastal and Marine Research Group - Tuesday 6 February
The Coastal and Marine Research Group invites proposals for CMRG badged sessions at the RGS-IBG 2024 Annual Conference in London 27 August to Friday 30 August. This year’s theme is ‘mapping in all its forms’.
To propose a CMRG badged session please email research group chair Tim Stojanovic (coastalmarineresearch@gmail.com) before 0900 Tuesday 6 February 2024, with the following information:
- Title of session
- Name, affiliation, and contact details for session convenors
- Session Abstract (up to 300 words)
- An indication of the format proposed
- How many sessions you are applying for sponsorship for (max. 2)
- Whether you wish to apply for co-sponsorship with another RGS-IBG research group
Different kinds of session are possible including papers, panels, digital shorts, world cafe, roundtable and workshops. For more guidance see conference session formats. The CMRG are able to sponsor up to a maximum of 12 sessions; each session lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes. CRMG will work with the session proposers to submit the full proposal to RGS-IBG by 1 March 2024 using their system Ex Ordo.
