Economic Geography Research Group conference session sponsorship
The Economic Geography Research Group (EGRG) invites expressions of interest for sponsored sessions at the Annual International Conference 2026.
The 2026 conference will be chaired by Professor Peter Hopkins (Newcastle University, UK). This year's Chair's theme is Geographies of inequalities: towards just places.
It will take place in London at the Royal Geographical Society and Imperial College London from Tuesday 1 September to Friday 4 September 2026. Online participation will be available too.
EGRG invite proposals for sessions that engage with any issue or theme in contemporary economic geography, particularly those aligned with the conference theme.
Sessions may take a variety of formats, including conventional paper sessions, panels, or more innovative or creative approaches.
Sponsored sessions benefit from:
- Guaranteed non-concurrent scheduling in the programme
- Promotion through the conference programme and EGRG channels in advance of the conference
- The opportunity to apply for guest registration for eligible session participants.
How to apply
