Energy Geographies Research Group

Energy Geographies Research Group - Wednesday 31 January

The call for sessions and papers for the Royal Geographical Society-Institute of British Geographers (RGS-IBG) annual international conference 2024 is now open. We invite session proposals from those who wish their session to be sponsored/co-sponsored by the Energy Geographies Research Group (EnGRG).

The conference will be chaired by Professor Stephen Legg (University of Nottingham), with the conference theme of Mapping.

The EnGRG can sponsor up to 12 sessions in the conference schedule that will be guaranteed non-concurrent. Please consider the EnGRG sessions for any topic that includes investigation of energy geographies (broadly defined), ideally linking to the conference theme. See here for guidance on organising sessions.

Sessions may take the form of presented papers, panels, practitioner forums, discussions workshops or something else. Innovative formats are encouraged. We welcome joint proposals with other groups.
