Coastal and Marine Research Group committee vacancies

The Coastal and Marine Research Group (CMRG) is advertising for the forthcoming committee vacancy:

Chair (three years)

This role provides an opportunity to serve the professional development of coastal and marine geographers in the UK. The role involves a relatively small time commitment, and the position holder receives strong support from the RGS, a Vice-Chair and other committee members.

Responsibilities

Leading the Research Group, setting the strategic agenda and decision making for the group (in collaboration with other committee members)
Chairing committee meetings (online, five per year)
Working with Secretary and Treasurer on Annual reporting, and working with the Conference Organiser to develop sessions at the Annual Conference.
Liaising with the Society
