The Society's Annual General Meeting is held every June.

This year's AGM will take place on Monday 3 June. The AGM is an opportunity to learn about the Society's achievements over the past year and goals for the future, as well as to elect new Council members.

The 2024 AGM will be held both in-person and streamed online.

To attend the AGM in-person, please book a ticket and bring your membership card with you on the day.

You can also able to watch the AGM being live streamed from 4.30pm on Monday 3 June - you will need to log into the website to watch. You do not need to book to watch the AGM online.

The agenda will be as follows:

  • Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of 5 June 2023

  • Presentation of the 2023 Annual Review

  • Presentation of the 2023 Accounts

  • Presidential address

  • Election of the Council and Officers for the ensuing year

There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions during the AGM.

The full transcript of the President's Address and record of the 2024 AGM will be published in the September 2024 issue of The Geographical Journal, which Fellows can access online.
