As we welcome in the new year, a reminder that our spring term of events are now ready for booking! This term looks to be another enjoyable dose of inspiration – we do hope you’ll join us.

Members, get ready for another 12 Monday night lectures! Talks will cover everything from conservation and rainforest protection, to the geographies of AI and global journalism. If you’re a new member, why not come along to one of our welcome tours running in February or March? It’s a great opportunity to meet others and get to know the building, before enjoying a Monday night lecture.

We also have a stimulating programme of public events for you to enjoy. Our popular film night will return in February - filmmakers, explorers and inquisitive minds will gather to watch films on the big screen. We’ll also be hosting another series of panel discussions on topical geographical issues; experts on migration will discuss the patterns and impacts of population movement while sustainable travel experts consider the role of geography in designing greener journeys.

Around the country, come along to one of our regional events continuing this spring: join Anne Strathie on her tour in Grantham, discover the story of the Andes in Penryn, or hear about the history of the world through 12 carpets in Stamford, among many more.

Don’t forget, you can make the most of what’s on offer by becoming a member. Membership includes access to our Monday night lectures, either in-person or online, and members also receive discounts on all other event ticket prices.
