Film screenings, Wednesday 8 July

Following the success of two previous film nights held at the Society, we’re back with another night of important and inspiring short films for you to enjoy!

This time, you’ll catch a glimpse into a season of conservation with the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust, follow an international expedition into the otherworldly waters of Tenerife, and venture behind-the-scenes of an ambitious rewilding mission in Somerset.

We’ll hear from the filmmakers about what influences their work, and how its shaped by personal and geographical stories. The evening will be hosted by National Geographic Explorer, conservationist, biologist and broadcaster, Niall McCann.
