MyCPD is temporarily offline
Thank you to all Society Fellows who used MyCPD to record their professional development over 2025.
To allow us to make some changes to the system we have taken the difficult decision to take MyCPD offline for a period of time.
Please be assured that any CPD records already saved remain safe and will be accessible once the platform is live again. In the meantime, you are encouraged to record any CPD using the Chartered Geographer CPD template.
If you are a Chartered Geographer or Professional Pathway member who has recorded your 2025 CPD in MyCPD but have not yet submitted it, please contact cgeog@rgs.org and we can submit this on your behalf.
It remains our expectation that 2026 CPD will be submitted via MyCPD between 1 December 2026 and 31 January 2027. View our guidance for CGeogs with dual Charterships.

Welcoming CDA students to the Society
Our Collaborative Doctoral Awards programme provides an opportunity for PhD students to have direct and unlimited access to our Collections, as well as receive training and supervision from staff. On Monday, we were delighted to welcome current students from the programme who came together for an induction day at the Society.
