Chartered Geographer is the only internationally recognised accreditation for geographers. It recognises competence, experience and professionalism in the use of geographical knowledge, skills and understanding in the workplace.

  • Since our last set of approvals, our Chartered Geographer scheme has had several updates. We recently launched the Professional Pathway to Chartered Geographer, offering individuals and employers a structured and supportive route to chartership. Look out for the launch of our new online CPD portal, MyCPD, which will be going live in the coming weeks, allowing all professionals on the pathway the chance to receive feedback and advice on their professional development.
