Funeral and memorial collections
Collecting in memory is a personal way for friends and family to remember someone who has died and provides an opportunity to continue their legacy and support a cause that was important to them.
A funeral director can help organise a collection in person at a funeral or celebration of life, or by asking for donations instead of flowers.

How to make a payment
To make a payment to the Society as an in memory gift, you can either send a cheque or make a payment to our bank account.

Please contact us by phone on +44 (0)20 7591 3007 so that we can provide our bank details and a reference to make sure we can easily locate your payment.
What else do we need?
When contacting us please send:
- The name of the person the funds are in memory of.
- Your relationship to them.
- Optional: their date of birth and death.
- Your details where we can send a thank you acknowledgement to (name, address, postcode, telephone number and email address).
- The total value of the collection.
- Confirmation of whether this a collection of a personal gift.
If it is a collection we would like to express gratitude to everyone who donates and thank them for their generosity. If you provide us with contact details of those who donate we will be able to write and thank them for their generosity.
We will never collect or use data for the purpose other than thanking them, unless individuals expressly state that they wish to hear from us.
Gift Aid
Individual gifts can be boosted by 25p for every £1 you donate, however Gift Aid cannot be claimed on company or group donations.
Leave a gift in your will
Leaving a gift in your will to the Society in memory of someone special is one of the most impactful ways you can continue their story.
