This year marks the 50th anniversary of the RGS Explore Weekend.
Explore 50 is a moment to celebrate what has been achieved and help shape what comes next. Giving now is a timely way to mark this anniversary and help us continue making a difference through this vital work.
We will be hosting a day of celebration on Friday 6 November 2026 to bring together 50 years of the Explore community and look ahead to the next 50 years of exploration.
With your help, we can continue to inspire responsible, purposeful, and impactful geographical fieldwork for the next 50 years of RGS Explore Weekends.
What will your donation support?
All gifts will help support the next generation of explorers undertaking expeditions and field research.
- £50: Celebrate 50 years of Explore.
- £250: Help provide practical training and mentoring for early-career explorers.
- £500: Support access to specialist advice, networks, and expedition planning resources.
- £1,000 or more: Make a leadership gift towards grants and long-term support for thoughtful and impactful geographical fieldwork.
Larger donations are also most welcome.
