The ABL Foundation exists to break down the systemic barriers that disabled students face when entering the workforce. They do this by creating meaningful, paid internships that lead to lasting careers.

The foundation connects ambitious young people with leading employers, proving that inclusion is not just the right thing to do, but a driver of innovation, performance, and social change.

Apply for an internship

To be eligible for an internship you must meet the criteria below.

You must be one of the following:

  • A student on a gap year, with an unconditional offer to study at a UK university
  • Currently studying at a UK university
  • Be a recent graduate of a UK university

And:

  • You must have received/be in receipt of Disabled Students Allowance (DSA)

If you do not meet this specific criteria, but still consider yourself eligible for the programme, students are encouraged to reach out to a member of the team.
