Space to Explore Potential (STEP) is a Durham University summer school programme designed to support students who are underrepresented in higher education, particularly at Durham.
The programme offers Year 12 and 13 students the opportunity to participate in events and activities that provide insight into studying at the university. It also enables participants to demonstrate their potential through alternative forms of assessment.
Students who successfully complete the assessed summer school project may receive a guaranteed alternative offer and develop valuable academic skills.
