Encompass was established by York St John University in collaboration with the Black Geographers network to encourage a more diverse representation of people and places within geography.
Encompass participants experience university-level study through a campus visit, lectures and a field trip. Participants are also guaranteed a place on the Discover YSJ summer school to learn more about university life in York.
