Natural Youth Connection Education (NYCE) exists because not everyone has equal access to nature and the outdoors.
Youth from working class families as well as African and Caribbean, Asian and other minority groups miss out on the advantages of nature connection because of historical and current inequalities. These same communities, as adults, are for the most part not involved in environmental jobs or the wider green sector.
NYCE bridges this gap through community participation and environmental education.
