Care experienced scholarship
The Open University Care Experienced Scholarship offers ten full undergraduate scholarships to care-experienced young people aged 30 and under. A scholarship covers OU undergraduate credit-bearing qualifications, paying for the full tuition cost of your qualification, up to 120 credits each seasonal academic year and 360 credits in total.
Scholarship for Black students
The Open Futures Scholarship for Black Students provides an opportunity for new, UK-resident students who identify as Black to study for free.
Ten scholarships will be available in 2026/27.
Sanctuary scholarship
The Open Futures Sanctuary Scholarship provides an opportunity for new, UK-resident students who have been displaced from their homeland or place of residence for political, economic, ethnic, environmental, or human rights pressures to study for free.
