Future Forum brings together youth representatives and senior leadership from leading climate and conservation charities in the UK to discuss how the sector can better engage and empower young people.

Teach the Teacher

Teach the Teacher is a youth-led campaign bringing students into their schools to talk to their educators about climate change. Students involved are trained with the skills and knowledge to give their teachers a one hour lesson on climate change, teaching them about what it’s like being a young person in the climate crisis and the need for climate education for all. Teachers are then supported to integrate climate into their teaching going forward.

Teach the Future is an autonomous campaign by secondary and tertiary education students to greatly improve education on the climate emergency and ecological crisis in the UK. The campaign is supported by staff at SOS UK.

Teach the Future’s vision is to:

  • Teach students about climate change
  • Include green skills in many vocational courses
  • Make educational buildings climate-friendly
