Current or most recent role

I am a Climate and Energy Coordinator at Ipieca, a global non-profit advancing environmental and social performance across the energy transition.

I work within the Climate Change Team to coordinate technical workshops and academic sessions, developing good practice guidance with members, and facilitating cross-sector alignment on climate and sustainability standards.

Previous experience

I supported education outreach as a Geography Student Ambassador and International Student Support Team member, helping students navigate higher education

I mentored year-10 pupils in an eight-week study skills programme and contributed to a student-led enterprise dedicated to providing resources to train women in the Kenyan community to improve welfare.

Why I want to become a professional ambassador

My time as an academic representative and student ambassador for the Geography department inspired me to encourage others to explore geography.

I love sharing how its interdisciplinary problem-solving nature, from GIS to disaster risk and energy challenges, offers exciting ways for students to understand the world and tackle global problems.
