Current or most recent role

In my current role, I teach geography and lead our school’s Eco-Schools programme, guiding us to Distinction status. I also run an award-winning eco club, empowering students to take meaningful environmental action through projects that promote sustainability, community engagement, and climate awareness across the school and beyond lessons daily.

Previous experience

I have extensive experience in professional outreach through my roles in education and environmental initiatives. I have led climate courses and run an award-winning eco club, engaging students in sustainability projects and community action. I have also mentored colleagues, supported curriculum development, and delivered workshops aimed at widening participation, including programmes for underrepresented groups, fostering inclusion, environmental awareness, and active engagement with geography beyond the classroom.

Why I want to become a professional ambassador

I would like to be an RGS Professional Ambassador because it offers an opportunity to champion the value of geography, inspire the next generation, and contribute to a respected professional community. I’m passionate about promoting geographical thinking, sharing best practice, and supporting meaningful environmental education both within schools and beyond.
