As a business case expert, I have advised local authorities, government bodies and private sector clients, delivering funding strategies and impactful projects across the UK and Ireland.

As Senior Director at Turley, I led the Business Cases & Funding service, securing investment for public and private sector projects across the UK and Ireland. Key projects included CAT Cynefin (£30m, Mid Wales Growth Deal), MLEC (£73m, LCRCA SIF & MHCLG), and Newcastle Health Innovation Neighbourhood (£20m, NTCA).

I have attended careers evenings at two schools for the last seven years. I run business workshops with sixth form students and run practitioner seminars for undergrads. I have trained public sector clients in HM Treasury Green Book. I am also a UK Athletics Track and Field Official (DBS Oct 2024).
Why I want to become a professional ambassador
I want to be a Geography Ambassador to inspire the next generation about the subject’s real-world impact. With expertise in economic development, transport and urban planning, I aim to showcase geography’s role in shaping communities, sustainability and future careers.
