I was a lecturer for Colchester Institute (16 years), University of Sierra Leone (2 years), Newman University, Birmingham (20 years). I am a physical geographer with interest and experience in primary school geography teacher training.

Previous experience

I am a governor of a local primary school and have given assembly presentations on places (The Gambia, Antarctica, Galapagos). I have supported schools in deprived areas of the West Midlands and supported their local fieldwork with a wide range of children.

Why I want to become a Professional Ambassador

I think it is important to inspire young minds to get excited about the world they live in. To understand how it works and to be able to play their part as informed citizens.
