About
I am a Senior Production Manager at Ordnance Survey. I have worked with GIS for nearly twenty years, starting as a caseworker at HM Land Registry, mapping property ownership. I was trained as a surveyor and transferred to Ordnance Survey to capture changes to the landscape on the national map database and later manage production groups of surveyors.

I am currently working with Coventry University to offer GIS sessions and talks to their geography undergraduates.
Why I want to become a professional ambassador
Having chanced into a geographic career I hadn't considered at school, I've taken joy in supporting the development of others, both through mentoring and also holding the OS Field Chartership portfolio, supporting others gaining professional accreditations. Being able to deliver outreach to get others into geography would support that.
