Bertie Gregory is a National Geographic Photographer, Explorer and wildlife filmmaker.

Best known as the host and producer of multiple National Geographic television projects, including Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory, Sharks Up Close with Bertie Gregory, and Secrets of the Penguins on Disney+, Bertie has led and produced over a dozen global expeditions for National Geographic.

In 2020, he became BAFTA’s youngest-ever winner for cinematography for his work alongside David Attenborough on the BBC’s Planet Earth series.

Bertie has also contributed to landmark productions, including Planet Earth III and Seven Worlds, One Planet. Named National Geographic’s Rolex Explorer of the Year, Bertie thrives where there is no script and no certainty. 

His passion lies in connecting people to nature, to purpose, and to their own capacity for resilience, empowering audiences to embrace change, lead with clarity, and turn uncertainty into opportunity.
