Dr Jean de Pomereu is a Research Fellow at the Scott Polar Research Institute, University of Cambridge.

Working with Salto Ulbeek, he has contributed to the publication of the first platinum-palladium prints and portfolios made from the original negatives of Frank Hurley, Herbert Ponting and Captain Scott held at the Royal Geographical Society and Scott Polar Research Institute in Cambridge.

Jean’s work also comprises photography, science reporting, and curation. He is the co-author of Antarctica: A History in 100 Objects (Conway/Bloomsbury, 2022).
