Step into an evening of visual exploration as we celebrate remarkable photographers and filmmakers who capture compelling stories about our planet through their lenses.
From 5.00pm you are invited to arrive at the Society to view the captivating shortlist, with an exclusive first view of this year’s exhibition. In addition, you may view a stunning collection of images linked to the historic 1924 Everest expedition in our Foyle Reading Room, inviting reflection on the ever-changing landscape of our world.
At 7.00pm we unveil the winners of Earth Photo 2024. Meet the talented photographers and videographers who, through their work, showcase the critical environmental and humanitarian issues facing our world today. In addition, we will be joined by Nicholas Crane, geographer, explorer, writer and broadcaster, who will discuss the transformative power of photography and how it can shine a light on the challenges facing the natural world.
Join us in celebrating the Earth Photo 2024 award recipients, and the power of photography and film to drive positive action towards a more sustainable future.
