Cave Hill dominates the skyline of Belfast and this talk will reflect on the geology of the site and human influences upon it from the mesolithic period to modern history, finishing with an overview of its important significance as a rich natural resource.

About the speaker

Cormac Hamill is Chair of the Cave Hill Conservation Campaign, director of the Belfast Hills Partnership, a native Irish speaker and has presented over thirty television programmes on aspects of rural Ireland.
