Come to the Great Exhibition Road Festival this summer to discover an exciting range of events lined up from Imperial College London, the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, the Royal Parks, V&A, and many more organisations around South Kensington.

Exhibition Road will come alive with cutting-edge experiments, mind-bending technology, music, dance, art, live science shows and parades!

Explore the ideas that will shape our futures through lively talks, demonstrations, live science shows and hands-on workshops. Discover what life is like for Antarctic researchers, taste the food of the future at live kitchen demos, play steelpan drums with the UK's first steel band, and bring your best moves to the Earthbeat silent disco, an immersive dance adventure.

Discuss the five-decade journey of robotic exploration of Mars and discover how art and space engineering meet in an origami workshop or create your own black hole-inspired ornament. Then take a break to enjoy music on the Main Stage from the Royal Albert Hall and presented by West London’s Portobello Radio.

To mark 175 years since the Great Exhibition of 1851, the most attended public exhibition in London’s history, revisit the event that helped South Kensington become the home of science and the arts.

The first World Fair, the Great Exhibition brought together more than 100,000 exhibits, capturing a moment of remarkable innovation and curiosity that shaped how Victorian Britain viewed the world.

Discover its hidden stories through an interactive art installation and join a discussion on its complex history and impact on science, the arts and communities today.
