A high-level walk over the spacious emptiness of the Moelwynion taking in the summit of Cnicht 689m (sometimes called the Matterhorn of Wales but only when seen from the West!) with striking views across to Yr Wyddfa.

The walk has a linear theme: following the line of a river gorge initially, then following the line of least resistance through some rocks before seeking out the driest line underfoot across some marshy ground, but at the end of the day we will have completed a circle!
