The Society has launched a pre-eligibility development pathway to support those early in their career and to prepare for Chartered Geographer: Professional Pathway to Chartered Geographer.
Staged by year the programme includes:
- Support in planning, recording and reflecting on Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Introductory and advanced webinars, including Application Accelerators and Professional Development Insight events
- Opportunities to join a professional network, such as a Professional Practice Group
- One-to-one mentorship through the Chartership application process
- Tailored advice and recommended activities for specific career interests
- Networking opportunities and peer support
The Society is offering organisations and companies the opportunity to register as ‘Professional Pathway to Chartered Geographer Employers’.
This scheme is free of charge and allows you to advertise the Professional Pathway as a benefit for your employees, embed the programme into your early career support and fly the flag for professional geographical careers.
