As we begin to focus more on adaptive teaching in the classroom, how we adapt our practice for multi-lingual students has become increasingly important.
In this one-hour session, Fiona will look at a range of practical strategies that can be used in the classroom to help multi-lingual students excel in geography.
About the speaker
Fiona Sheriff is a secondary school Head of Geography working in Northamptonshire. She is a Fellow of the Society, as well as a recipient of the Ordnance Survey award from the Society and an Excellence award from the Geographical Association.
She is the author of 100 Ideas for Secondary Geography Fieldwork and is currently Vice President of the Geographical Association.
