This webinar is aimed at postgraduate geography students who want to make the most of attending the Society’s Annual International Conference.

A panel of speakers, including Dr Sarah L. Evans, Research and Collections Engagement Manager at the Society, will share practical advice on navigating a large UK based academic conference.

Topics will include planning your conference attendance alongside PhD commitments, making sense of the conference programme, preparing and giving your presentation, handling audience questions, networking within the UK and international geography community, and managing wellbeing during busy conference days.

With dedicated time for audience questions, this webinar is an ideal opportunity to prepare for the conference and ensure your experience is both productive and positive.
