The Ulysses Trust
The Ulysses Trust's vision is to ensure that every member of the UK’s Volunteer Reserve and Cadet Forces has the opportunity to undertake challenging adventurous activities and expeditions, thereby to help the engagement and development of young people in our society, individually, and as effective contributors to their communities and as citizens of this country. Founded in 1992, the charity has raised over £3.5M to support over 40,000 individuals to participate in over 2,980 expeditions – from sailing in the Solent and walking in the Brecon Beacons to climbing Everest and crossing the Antarctic.

Vertura
Vertura was born out of frustration with the lack of genuinely warm, technical women’s-fit clothing suitable for use in high mountains and cold environments. We don’t just make clothing; we want to be a driver for positive change. Through our email newsletter, blog, and curated bookshelf, we share advice and inspiring stories to help elevate women’s experiences in the mountains. As a female owned and run brand, our mission is to encourage more women to explore the edge of their comfort zone, and show the world that there is nowhere we don’t belong.

We offer high-quality, practical Expedition First Aid courses, tailored for remote and adventure environments, with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and realistic scenario practice. Whether you’re preparing for challenging terrain or managing the psychological demands of expeditions, we’re here to equip your team with the essential skills for safety, resilience, and effective response.

Exploration Quarterly
Founded in 2024 by RGS fellows Roseann and Jonathan Hanson, Exploration Quarterly is a publication for those who do not cease to be curious...to learn...to explore. We define exploration in the broadest sense: Exploration can be geographical. Exploration can be fractal. Exploration can be introspective. Exploration can be expansive. Exploration can be structured. Exploration can be unplanned. Exploration can happen every day. Exploration is continuously seeking new places, new ideas, and new knowledge. Exploration is the essence of being human, what brought us from the forests into the savannahs, and beyond the horizons of Earth to the edges of the known universe. We shall not cease from exploration.

Dhofar Centre for Wildlife Research
The Dhofar Centre for Wildlife Research is a newly established conservation organisation dedicated to advancing environmental research, conservation, and sustainable development across the Arabian Peninsula. Their vision is a wild Arabia, rich in nature, culture and prosperity, alive with biodiversity from ridge to reef. The Centre provides environmental consulting, leads and supports applied research, and coordinates a regional biodiversity monitoring programme, with the help of volunteers, from its field station in the Dhofar Mountains.

British Exploring Society
British Exploring Society is a youth development charity. While much has changed since we were founded in 1932, the core idea - young people preparing for life by developing resilience and confidence through adventure and learning in a remote wilderness, in small self-contained groups - remains at the heart of our work. Today, we intentionally bring together young people from diverse backgrounds. With our community of professional volunteer Leaders and Experts, they exchange ideas online, in tents and canoes, up mountains and in the jungle – all in environments equally alien to them. Most importantly, they unlock self-belief and begin to move beyond the limits of what they, and society, thought possible.
