Lucy Longbottom is an emergency medicine doctor in Cornwall who also enjoys working as an expedition doctor and mountain leader, and volunteering as a lifeboat crew member. With her interests in marine and mountain medicine, Lucy is currently completing the International Diploma in Expedition and Wilderness Medicine run by the Royal College of Glasgow alongside a Diploma in Mountain Medicine.

Lucy has previously done a fellowship with Endeavour Medical Fellow and now works as part of the Endeavor Medical Faculty teaching marine and expedition medicine courses in the UK and abroad.

Lucy is a very active and keen explorer and this year has been lucky enough to join a few expeditions as an expedition doctor from climbing Kilimanjaro to running across Iceland as well as working on remote ultra marathon events and volunteering on British Exploring Society Expeditions.
