Zoe is an Army Reservist and trainee geography teacher with a passion for outdoor education and exploration.

During her three years in the Officer Training Corps, Zoe balanced university with more than 20 expeditions. Having spent time mountaineering in the Himalayas, sea kayaking in the Hebrides, the Isles of Scilly and Cyprus, as well as climbing in the Dolomites, Zoe is now working towards her leader qualifications as a 2Lt to be able to facilitate similar opportunities for future OCdts. As a geography teacher Zoe hopes to encourage students in their teens to first feel comfortable in their own natural environments, and then push outside of those comfort zones and choose to pursue their own adventures further afield.

Currently Zoe is part of the British Army Force Atlantic Team training to row across the Atlantic in 2026.
